Although I've been attending this convention for the past five years or so, I have never written about it before now... But now I am! Man, I found this con to be so much fun, especially since I made so many new friends~

Highlight of both days would have to be the cosplay comp. There were so many amazing entries~ That's why I never enter - 'cause it's so much fun just to watch everyone!
There were so many gorgeous cosplayers, like DestinyPlace and twinklee, just to name a few.
_{There were so many more, but that would just make this journal entry far too long...}

On Saturday, I cosplayed as Ciel Phantomhive in his shortened ball gown (shown at the back of manga volume 2) and it was so hot. My neck hurt afterwards 'cause the wig and hat were heavy. >_<;;;
This cosplay was my main reason for internet-deadness, but I have no regrets!!!

On Sunday...  Vocaloid Magnet group!
My first ever group and I got to hang out with awesome people like:

Wai-Con is slowly approaching, and therefore I must stop procrastinating and get a move on with sewing.
Current plans for Wai-Con:
Saturday - Kuroshitsuji - Short version of Ciel's ball gown, shown in the end of the manga volume 2.
Sunday - Vocaloid - Black Magnet Rin with Midnight-Bliss and a couple of her friends~

Ah, and we don't have the restaurant anymore. The new landlord wanted to increase the rent to ridiculous amounts. =.=;

Referencing is so confusing...
At least I have a couple of awesome group members...

1. What was your first cosplay? (Think hard on this)
Freya from Chobits... I don't think dressing up as a fairy nor pretending to be a Sailor Scout counts exactly...

2. Did someone get you into cosplay? Or on your own?
I mostly got into it on my own, but it was after malik-bakura started. It looked like so much fun. I found out about Wai-Con shortly after and made my decision on what my final sewing project for school would be.

3. What is your favorite cosplay?
At the moment, it's probably my Skuld (Ah My Goddess!) or Alice (Pandora Hearts). Though, that'll definitely change as I make more... Like Magnet!Rin (Vocaloid) will probably become my favourite soon...

4. Which is your least favourite?
Hm... My... Lulu (Final Fantasy X). I hated the belt skirt thing... And didn't even get it done well... I just like the hair sticks I made.

5. At conventions, do people compliment you on your cosplays?
Yeah, sometimes. I don't tend to cosplay popular/well-known characters (not to my knowledge anyway). Nor are my costumes 'OMG amazing~'. Doesn't help that I'm shy

6. How many have you done?

8. What female cosplay do you want to do most?
Um... It's mostly just whichever character has my attention at any given time. So, at the moment, that'd be... ... ... Rin's various outfits (Vocaloid), I suppose?

9. What male cosplay do you want to do most?
Ciel... in a dress...

10. What do you prefer to do, make or buy your costumes?
I prefer to make. I get this warm fuzzy feeling when something I've been working on turns out well...

11. Your most memorable experience? What makes it so memorable?
Hm... First Wai-Con as Freya... I got glomped

12. Your dream cosplay?
I don't really have any... I just make more complicated costumes as my sewing skills improve~
I used to want to make ball gowns and Lolita-style dresses, but now that I've started, I've gotta think about others!

13. Is there a pattern in your cosplays? If so, what? (Things like they have a certain personality, or hair colour)
Hm... Well... So far, they've all been female... Uh... non-short hair... Mysterious characters?

14. Your most recent cosplay?
Namine (Kingdom Hearts II)... and I don't think this counts, but I made (my interpretation of) the Lapin Angelique Ribbon-lace Dress from The World Ends With You...

15. What do you prefer? Cosplaying in a group or on your own?
I'm looking forward to cosplaying in a group for the first time at Wai-Con 2011~ The only other time I wasn't alone was with my Chobits cosplay. blue-butterflies was my Chii~
So, I don't know which I prefer. I'm so self-conscious and shy, though, that I'd probably prefer a smallish group.
